Meditation
At the beginning of each class all students are encouraged to enter into a heightened state of focus and awareness. The sensei will call Mokuso and then we all close our eyes and concentrate our attention into the whole of oneself in a relaxed state of all being perceptiveness. The same will take place at the end of the class.

Ippon Budō
一本武道 Ippon Budō
Ippon Budō is a training method used by Senjutsu Japanese Martial Arts to encourage the students to develop intelligent design within their techniques, strategy and tactics. Ippon Budō is a safe and effective way to train using a (clicker) points based approach for reward with students wearing full protective Budō Gear.
Ippon Budō is not a style, it’s a mindset.
Ippon Win:
Clean Throw.
5 Clean Strikes without defence. (Kimē)
Submission.
10 points clean advantage.
Points:
All Strikes = 1pt
Clean Mount = 1pt
Pass Full Guard = 1pt
Full Back Mount = 1 pt
Full Side Control = 1pt
Escape & Stand Up from Ground Position = 1pt
Time:
1 x 2 mins.
10 Second Clinch.
30 Seconds on the Ground.
Zone Escape:
To develop the skill of Spatial Awareness.

The Tactical Micro Fight (TMF)
The Tactical Micro Fight (TMF) enables the cultivation of inner calm, prescience and order whilst simultaneously engaging in the chaos of fighting.
This is the state of mind that the Samurai warriors strived for. OSU!
